Description

The Residential Construction Project Manager will:

  • Provide overall leadership and coordination for residential construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
  • Manage and develop project team members to maximize performance and professional growth
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with homeowners, architects, subcontractors, and vendors
  • Administer owner contracts, subcontract agreements, and vendor commitments
  • Establish, communicate, and maintain project schedules
  • Manage project budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Monitor project costs and implement strategies to maintain budget objectives
  • Coordinate procurement, material deliveries, and subcontractor schedules
  • Oversee Quality Assurance and Quality Control efforts throughout construction
  • Lead project meetings and maintain regular communication with clients and stakeholders
  • Identify project risks and develop solutions to mitigate potential issues
  • Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to client expectations

Profile

The successful Residential Construction Project Manager will have:

  • 5+ years of Residential Construction Project Management experience
  • Experience managing custom homes, luxury renovations, multifamily, or residential development projects
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred
  • Strong knowledge of construction scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration
  • OSHA certification preferred
  • Proficiency with project management and construction software
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving abilities
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and client relationships
