The Therapist has the primary responsibility for the assessment, planning and implementation of the treatment for clients in the Residential Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Program. The Therapist provides both direct services and mobilizes the resources of the total treatment milieu. This includes, but is not limited to, 1) screening and assessment, 2) individual, collateral, group, and family therapy, 3) treatment plan development and reviews, 4) timely documentation, 5) obtaining authorization for services, and 6) discharge planning and referrals.
