Job Description

Richmark Remodeling

Residential Remodeling Project Manager

Location: Magnolia, TX -- field-based position serving residential projects throughout the Greater Houston area

Lead Exceptional Remodels and an Exceptional Client Experience

Richmark Remodeling specializes in high-end residential remodeling projects, frequently partnering with designers to complete renovations valued from approximately $300,000 to more than $1 million. We believe outstanding remodeling requires more than quality construction; it requires communication, organization, respect for the client's home, and careful attention to every detail.

We are looking for an experienced, client-focused Residential Remodeling Project Manager to oversee one or two high-end renovation projects at a time. Unlike a high-volume production-building position, this role requires daily involvement at active job sites, close communication with homeowners and designers, detailed quality control, and thoughtful management of work occurring in occupied homes. You will be responsible for keeping projects on schedule, on budget, and aligned with Richmark's standards.

The ideal candidate understands remodeling, presents themselves professionally, builds strong client relationships, and has the creative eye needed to collaborate effectively with designers and discerning homeowners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee high-end residential remodeling projects from active construction through completion
  • Maintain a consistent onsite presence, typically managing one or two projects at a time
  • Build, maintain, and communicate project schedules
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspections, deliveries, and daily jobsite activities
  • Confirm subcontractors arrive as scheduled and perform work to company standards
  • Monitor workmanship, project details, cleanliness, and quality
  • Protect occupied homes and minimize disruption to clients' routines
  • Maintain professional, proactive communication with homeowners
  • Communicate timelines, selections, decisions, and project requirements
  • Coordinate with designers to obtain selections and resolve questions promptly
  • Review subcontractor quotes, invoices, payment requests, and completed work
  • Submit accurate payment information for weekly processing
  • Monitor project budgets and work with the estimating and coordination teams to control costs
  • Recognize work that falls outside the original scope and initiate appropriate change orders
  • Help explain and present change orders professionally
  • Identify project risks, delays, and quality concerns before they become larger problems
  • Develop positive relationships with clients, families, designers, subcontractors, and coworkers
  • Maintain organized and accurate project records
  • Support project profitability, timeline goals, and customer satisfaction

Qualifications

  • Construction project management, superintendent, or comparable field-leadership experience
  • Residential remodeling experience strongly preferred
  • High-end or luxury residential construction experience preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, materials, and trades
  • Experience scheduling and directing subcontractors
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Professional communication and customer-service skills
  • Ability to interact confidently with homeowners, designers, vendors, and trade partners
  • Ability to manage budgets, schedules, documentation, and change orders
  • Creative eye and ability to contribute constructively to design-related conversations
  • Organized, dependable, accountable, and proactive
  • Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
  • Employment is contingent upon completion of applicable pre-employment screening and reference checks.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • English-Spanish bilingual communication skills are preferred but not required
  • Candidates whose experience is primarily limited to managing a large volume of production or tract homes should be prepared to demonstrate their ability to manage highly detailed remodeling projects and maintain close client relationships.

Pay and Benefits

  • Job Type: Full-time, in-person and field-based
  • Base salary: $62,400-$80,000 per year, depending on relevant experience and qualifications.
  • Performance bonus opportunity: approximately $10,000-$20,000 annually, based on project margin, schedule performance, and customer satisfaction. Bonuses are not guaranteed.
  • Bonuses based on project margin, schedule performance, and customer satisfaction
  • Company vehicle or vehicle allowance, depending on the arrangement
  • Company-paid or reimbursed fuel and tolls
  • One week of paid time off
  • Paid company holidays
  • Opportunity to manage distinctive, high-value residential projects

Why Richmark Remodeling?

Richmark Remodeling gives Project Managers the opportunity to focus closely on a limited number of meaningful projects instead of overseeing dozens of repetitive builds. You will have the resources and authority to develop relationships, protect quality, solve problems, and create an excellent remodeling experience. Strong performance is recognized through project-based bonuses tied to the results you help produce. If you take pride in both craftsmanship and customer care, this is a place where your contribution will be visible.
