Responsibilities:
Perform residential rewiring projects including full and partial home rewiring
Install, upgrade, and replace electrical panels and subpanels
Diagnose and troubleshoot residential electrical systems and faulty wiring
Ensure all work meets NEC code requirements and passes local inspections
Communicate clearly with homeowners regarding project scope, timelines, and safety concerns
Maintain accurate job documentation, permits, and inspection records
Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment
Requirements:
Valid California Electrician Certification (Journeyman or higher preferred)
2+ years of hands-on residential rewiring and panel upgrade experience
Strong knowledge of NEC codes and California electrical regulations
Experience pulling permits and working with local inspectors
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively on job sites
Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
