About the Role:
Mister Sparky in Fremont, CA is looking for a skilled Residential Electrician to join our growing team specializing in rewiring and electrical panel work. Responsibilities:
- Perform residential rewiring projects including full and partial home rewiring
- Install, upgrade, and replace electrical panels and subpanels
- Diagnose and troubleshoot residential electrical systems and faulty wiring
- Ensure all work meets NEC code requirements and passes local inspections
- Communicate clearly with homeowners regarding project scope, timelines, and safety concerns
- Maintain accurate job documentation, permits, and inspection records
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment
Requirements:
- Valid California Electrician Certification (Journeyman or higher preferred)
- 2+ years of hands-on residential rewiring and panel upgrade experience
- Strong knowledge of NEC codes and California electrical regulations
- Experience pulling permits and working with local inspectors
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively on job sites
- Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
