Position Overview:
We’re seeking a skilled Residential Service Electrician to provide high-quality service to our clients. This role requires a balance of technical expertise and strong customer service skills. You will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems in residential homes while maintaining a professional and customer-friendly demeanor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical inspections, repairs, and installations in residential homes
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and recommend the best solutions to customers
- Ensure all work is performed according to local and national electrical codes
- Communicate clearly and effectively with clients to explain work being done and answer any questions they may have
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, respecting the homes and property of our clients
- Complete work orders and necessary paperwork in a timely and efficient manner
- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities
Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Residential Electrical Technician (3+ years preferred)
- Strong knowledge of residential electrical systems, codes, and safety practices
- Experience with troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing electrical systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work
- Positive attitude, professionalism, and customer service-oriented
- Ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations and provide clear solutions
