Volt N' Vent is a Las Vegas-based electrical and HVAC contracting company serving residential and light commercial clients. We're growing fast and looking for a skilled residential service electrician to join our team and help us deliver top-tier electrical work to homeowners across the valley.


Job Summary


We're hiring a Residential Service Electrician with a minimum of 4 years of hands-on residential service experience. This role is focused exclusively on residential work — service calls, troubleshooting, repairs, upgrades, and installations in occupied homes. This is not a commercial or new-construction electrician position, and candidates whose background is primarily commercial or ground-up new build should not apply.


What You'll Do

• Diagnose and repair electrical issues in occupied homes, from simple outlet repairs to complex panel and wiring problems
• Perform panel upgrades, subpanel installations, and service upgrades in existing homes
• Install and service lighting, outlets, switches, ceiling fans, EV chargers, hot tub/spa circuits, and other residential electrical equipment
• Troubleshoot customer-reported issues efficiently and explain findings clearly to homeowners
• Provide accurate, professional recommendations and pricing options to customers on-site
• Complete work to code and pass required inspections
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
• Represent Volt N' Vent professionally in customers' homes

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 4 years of residential service electrical experience (not commercial or industrial)
• Strong troubleshooting skills — comfortable diagnosing problems in existing homes without blueprints
• Comfortable working directly with homeowners and explaining technical issues in plain language
• Valid Nevada electrician license (or ability to obtain one) in good standing
• Clean driving record and valid driver's license — you'll be driving a company van, gas paid by the company
• Ability to pass a background check
• Own hand tools (company provides specialty tools and equipment)
• Reliable, punctual, and takes pride in quality workmanship

Nice to Have

• Experience with residential panel upgrades (200A to 400A)
• Experience with EV charger, hot tub, or swim spa electrical installations
• Familiarity with Housecall Pro or similar field service software
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting pay: $30–$35/hour, depending on experience
• Company van provided, with gas paid by the company
