You’ll be out in the field diagnosing problems, repairing and maintaining residential HVAC systems in customers’ homes. This is a service-based role, not just installing new systems—you’ll need to think, communicate, and solve problems on every call. We’re looking for someone who is reliable, experienced, and takes pride in doing the job right the first time. Responsibilities - Accurately diagnose issues on:
- Furnaces (Gas and Oil), Heat pumps, Central AC systems, Mini-splits, Boilers (Gas and Oil), Geothermal Heat Pumps, etc…
- Clearly explain the problem and solution to the customer
- Perform repairs including electrical, refrigerant, airflow, and mechanical components
- Complete preventative maintenance per company checklist
- Test system performance after every repair (temperature split, static pressure, amp draw, etc.)
- Ensure systems are operating safely and efficiently before leaving
- Keep your truck stocked and organized
- Communicate with the office about job status and schedule changes
- Take photos and write clear job notes before closing out each job
- Collect payment when job is completed.
