Residential Service Plumber
Taylor, MI | Family-Owned Plumbing Company $25+/hr + Commission Opportunities Full-Time | Residential Service Plumbing
About Us
We’ve been serving the area for over 40 years, and while we’ve grown, we’ve never lost the small-company feel. We’re a close-knit team that works hard, laughs a lot, supports each other, and genuinely enjoys coming to work. We believe culture matters just as much as skill.
We’re not looking for “just another plumber.” We’re looking for someone who wants a long-term home — someone dependable, motivated, coachable, and proud of the work they do. Someone who can work independently, treat customers the right way, and fit into a team that values trust, accountability, and good people.
We have annual company parties, a laid-back but hardworking environment, and leadership that actually values its employees. If you’re tired of toxic shops, being micromanaged, or feeling like just a number, this may be the change you’ve been looking for.
What You’ll Be Doing
Run residential service calls independently
Diagnose and repair residential plumbing issues
Handle installs, repairs, drain cleaning, sewer snakes/scopes, and excavation work
Communicate professionally with homeowners and help provide solutions
Keep your truck organized and jobs moving efficiently
Work closely with a supportive team that has your back
Occasionally assist with commercial work when needed (bonus experience, not required)
What We’re Looking For
At least 3 years of plumbing experience
Ability to run a service truck without constant supervision
Motivated self-starter who takes ownership of their work
Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
Receptive to feedback and willing to continue learning
Someone who does what they say they’re going to do
Positive attitude and team mentality
Drain cleaning and service sales experience is a huge plus
Registered apprentice preferred; Journeyman is a bonus
The Personality Fit Matters Here
We can teach processes. We can help sharpen technical skills. What we can’t teach is attitude, accountability, and work ethic.
We’re looking for someone who:
Wants to grow long-term with a company
Is hungry and motivated without needing to be micromanaged
Takes pride in helping customers
Brings good energy to the team
Can work independently while still being a team player

Honestly, we’re looking for a unicorn — someone skilled, humble, dependable, and driven.
