Responsibilities include:
Diagnose and repair residential plumbing issues, including leaks, clogs, fixtures, water heaters, sump pumps, drain lines, and water lines
Install, replace, and service faucets, toilets, garbage disposals, water heaters, water treatment systems, sump pumps, and other residential plumbing components
Perform drain cleaning and basic sewer and water line troubleshooting
Complete residential service calls safely, efficiently, and with a focus on customer satisfaction
Explain findings and recommended repair options clearly and professionally to homeowners
Complete electronic work orders, service documentation, and job notes accurately
Maintain a clean and organized work area while respecting customers' homes
Follow plumbing codes, company standards, and safety procedures
Maintain company tools, equipment, and service vehicle
Apprentice, Journeyman, and Master Plumbers are encouraged to apply
Residential plumbing service experience required
Michigan plumbing license (Journeyman or Master) required; apprentices working toward licensure will also be considered
Experience independently running residential service calls is preferred
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Ability to lift, carry, kneel, crawl, and work in confined spaces
Commitment to safety, reliability, and quality workmanship
Experience with any of the following is a plus:
Tank and tankless water heaters
Water treatment systems
Drain cleaning
Sewer and water line repairs
Gas piping
Backflow prevention
Boilers
Mobile service software or electronic job documentation
Competitive hourly pay: $30-$45/hour, based on experience, licensing, and qualifications
