About the Role

The Residential Addictions Treatment Facilitator provides direct supervision, structure, and support to clients in a licensed residential substance use disorder treatment program, ensuring safety, accountability, and a recovery-focused environment in compliance with Oregon Administrative Rules.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide daily supervision and support to residential clients

  • Maintain therapeutic structure and reinforce program expectations

  • Supervise clients during activities, appointments, and outings

  • Administer medications and maintain accurate MARs

  • Conduct urinalysis collection and documentation

  • Perform property, physical, and room searches as required

  • Maintain facility safety, cleanliness, and security

  • Complete timely documentation and incident reporting

  • Collaborate with clinical and treatment team members

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Experience in residential treatment, addiction recovery, or behavioral health preferred

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to maintain professional boundaries and follow policies

  • Basic computer and documentation skills

  • Ability to pass required background checks and TB screening

  • Valid Oregon driver's license preferred (required if transporting clients)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of OAR 309-018 residential standards

  • Familiarity with trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing, and de-escalation

  • Experience with recovery-oriented treatment models

Work Environment

  • On-site work in a licensed residential treatment facility

  • Frequent direct interaction with clients

  • May include nights, weekends, or holidays

  • Physically active role including standing, walking, and light lifting
