Resiliency Analyst

ROLE SUMMARY

The Intersect Group is seeking a Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Analyst to support the development, execution, and continuous improvement of enterprise resilience programs. This role will help ensure the organization can effectively prepare for, respond to, and recover from operational disruptions while minimizing business impact.

The ideal candidate will partner closely with business leaders, technology teams, security professionals, and risk management stakeholders to strengthen continuity and recovery capabilities. You will play a key role in conducting business impact analyses, facilitating risk assessments, supporting recovery planning activities, and coordinating testing programs that improve organizational resilience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery frameworks, policies, standards, and procedures

• Conduct Business Impact Analyses to identify critical processes, recovery objectives, dependencies, and operational risks

• Perform risk assessments to evaluate potential threats, vulnerabilities, and impacts across business and technology environments

• Collaborate with business, technology, security, and risk management teams to develop and maintain recovery plans

• Coordinate and document tabletop exercises, recovery tests, and resiliency assessments while tracking remediation activities

• Monitor program metrics, recovery readiness indicators, testing results, and continuity plan maintenance efforts

• Identify resilience gaps and recommend process improvements to strengthen business recovery capabilities

• Support incident response, crisis management, and recovery activities during operational disruptions when needed

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• 3 to 5 years of experience in Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, IT Risk, Operational Resilience, or related disciplines

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Risk Management, Emergency Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience

• Experience conducting Business Impact Analyses, risk assessments, and recovery plan development in a corporate environment

• Knowledge of industry frameworks and standards such as ISO 22301, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, COBIT, FFIEC, or similar governance models

• Experience supporting continuity exercises, disaster recovery testing, and documenting results, findings, and remediation activities

• Ability to work cross functionally with business stakeholders, technology teams, and leadership groups

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills with exceptional attention to detail

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build relationships across multiple levels of the organization

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience helping develop, implement, or mature enterprise wide resilience programs

• Relevant certifications such as CBCP Certified Business Continuity Professional or similar industry credentials

• Exposure to enterprise risk management, crisis management, or operational resilience initiatives

• Experience supporting regulatory or compliance driven continuity programs

• Familiarity with maintaining continuity documentation repositories and recovery governance processes
