Overview:

The Houseman/Housekeeping Support plays an important role in maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment throughout the property. This position assists the housekeeping team by supporting room attendants, maintaining public spaces, and responding to guest requests when needed. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a service-focused environment and takes pride in keeping spaces clean and well-maintained.

‎Responsibilities:

Primary duties of this position include:

  • Maintain cleanliness and appearance of public areas throughout the property, including hallways, stairwells, elevators, lobbies, windows, and other shared spaces

  • Respond to housekeeping service calls by delivering items such as linens, towels, and other guest-requested supplies

  • Assist room attendants by removing trash and used linens, transporting supplies, and helping with tasks that require additional support

  • Organize and restock housekeeping carts, shelves, and storage areas to ensure adequate supply levels

  • Move furniture or assist with heavier cleaning assignments when necessary

  • Help clean guest rooms when operational needs require additional support

  • Record and report any lost items found during cleaning in accordance with company procedures

  • Provide friendly assistance to guests by answering questions or directing them to the appropriate department

  • Complete other housekeeping-related tasks as assigned by management

Qualifications:

Desired qualifications for this role include:

  • Ability to perform physically active work, including lifting, bending, pushing carts, and standing for extended periods both indoors and outdoors

  • Valid Driver's License required
  • Strong attention to detail and a genuine interest in maintaining clean and orderly spaces

  • Dependable work habits with a reputation for honesty and accountability

  • A positive attitude and commitment to delivering helpful service to guests and fellow team members

  • Ability to work cooperatively within a team environment
