Sugar Bowl Resort is seeking a Maintenance Technician (Level 1) to join our team and help keep our resort safe, clean, and running smoothly for guests and employees alike. This position is hands on and diverse, involving everything from snow removal and landscaping to painting, cleaning, and supporting special events. The ideal candidate will be reliable, adaptable, and ready to work outdoors in all weather conditions, ensuring the resort is well-maintained and welcoming at all times.

Who You Are:
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision, while also supporting more experienced team members
- Comfortable operating resort vehicles safely and according to procedure
- Handy with a range of tasks: painting, cleaning, demolition, snow shoveling, and general janitorial work
- A team player who's eager to learn from others and pitch in wherever needed
What You'll do:
- Keep pathways and grounds clear by shoveling snow and operating a snow blower
- Handle general landscaping, including mowing and weeding
- Move equipment, furniture, and other property around the resort as needed
- Set up tables, chairs, and other equipment to bring special events to life
- Deliver high-quality work efficiently, without cutting corners
- Help keep the resort safe, clean, and welcoming
- Bring a positive attitude to work every day, and help energize the team around you
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 75 lbs.
- Able to climb ladders without fear of heights
- General agility required
- Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions, including snow and cold
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods
