Resource Center Care Specialist: Exodus Family Ministries – Louisville, KY
About the Role
Are you looking for a hands-on ministry role where you can put your faith into active, practical service? Exodus Family Ministries is seeking a high-energy, adaptable team member to support our daily frontline operations. This role is built for someone who thrives on movement and variety- you will rarely sit behind a desk. You will serve on the front lines helping unhoused and vulnerable community members while keeping our facility running cleanly, safely, and efficiently.
What Your Day Looks Like
Hands-On Facility Upkeep: Perform essential, routine cleaning tasks including managing heavy laundry cycles, sanitizing restrooms and shower facilities, wiping down community areas, and stocking supplies.
Logistical Support: Unload food pantry shipments, move heavy donation bins, arrange spaces for events, and keep inventory organized.
Direct Guest Support: Warmly welcome guests, assist with intake, educate visitors on resources, and help maintain a peaceful environment through calm, compassionate de-escalation.
Driving & Outreach: Provide client transportation, complete local donation pick-ups, and transport program supplies in the ministry vehicle.
Volunteer Side-by-Side Support: Help orient shift volunteers, guide them through daily operational tasks, and step in wherever coverage is needed most.

Core Qualifications
Professing Christian in agreement with the Exodus Statement of Faith and an active member of a local evangelical church.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Ability to routinely lift 30+ lbs, navigate physical tasks, and stay on your feet for extended periods.
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
