Community Interface Services is hiring a Full-Time Resource Counselor to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in achieving greater independence. Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Resource Counselor, you will work with participants in our Independent Living program and provide individualized, person-centered support to each person. This support could look like assisting with maintaining housing, accessing resources for children at school and in the community, or navigating housing assistance programs. You will manage a caseload of participants of our Independent Living program, independently schedule and follow up with each person to ensure they receive the support needed to maintain housing or quality of life.This role is hands-on, one-on-one focused, and essential to improving the quality of life for those we serve. Since we support individuals within their own home or their community, there's expected travel within the Escondido to Vista area.
