What You'll DoProvide research and reference services across print and digital resources, working directly with faculty, staff, and students in a range of subject areasManage Interlibrary Loan (ILL) operations, including creating clear, helpful materials that promote ILL services to the campusBring our online presence to life through social media and polished, user-friendly LibGuidesBuild surveys, tutorials, forms, and other communications using Google services, LibWizard, and other library toolsSteward our ContentDM digital archives and the College's physical archival collectionsTeach library instruction sessions as neededSupervise and mentor student workersLead outreach efforts on and off campus through programming, information sharing, and community connectionsContribute to library data collection and help shape library policyTake on other duties as assigned by the Library Director - because no two days here look exactly alike What You BringMLS/MLIS from an ALA-accredited program (or equivalent experience)Comfort with ILL platforms and eagerness to learn tools like LibGuides, LibWizard, ContentDM, and Google WorkspaceA natural communicator who's just as comfortable drafting a tutorial as posting on social mediaInterest in archives and special collectionsStrong organizational skills and enjoyment of mentoring student staffA collaborative spirit and genuine passion for removing barriers between people and information About Lyon College Lyon College is a selective private liberal arts college affiliated with the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) in the historic town of Batesville, Arkansas.
