We have an exciting opportunity for you to join Memorial Health Meadows Hospital, which is part of the nations leading provider of healthcare services, HCA Healthcare.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Respiratory Care Assistant will provide respiratory therapy to patients by performing assigned duties under the supervision of a Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner.

The RCA will assist respiratory therapy staff by:

  • Caring for patients
  • Disinfection of respiratory therapy equipment
  • Performing limited clerical duties
  • Duties within the scope of practice defined by the GA Board of Respiratory Care

The RCA will support quality of care by demonstrating proper orientation, competencies, knowledge, and skills in mode of therapy outlined by the American Association of Respiratory Care (AARC).

What qualifications you will need

  • Current student with successful completion of the first year from a 2-year respiratory program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Respiratory Care required.
  • BCLS must obtain in 30 days required.
