    The Opportunity

    This is your opportunity to bring advanced respiratory care skills to the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at a nationally recognized medical center and children's hospital in Spokane, WA. Working at the intersection of critical care and pediatrics, you'll collaborate directly with physicians and nurses to manage complex cases and deliver life-critical interventions for seriously ill children.     Your Day-to-Day

    • Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to plan and implement respiratory care plans for critically ill pediatric patients
    • Operate and maintain complex ventilatory support systems, monitoring equipment, and resuscitation devices
    • Perform patient assessments, diagnostic procedures, and oxygen therapy in the PICU setting
    • Assist physicians in the delivery and direction of respiratory therapy services
    • Complete required department and unit-specific orientation programs
    • Perform additional qualified patient care functions as needed

    What We're Looking For

    Required:

    • Education sufficient to meet licensure or certification requirements
    • Active Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire
    • BLS certification through the American Heart Association upon hire
