Under supervision the Respiratory Therapist provides services to patients at PAMC as prescribed by physicians in conjunction with established policies, procedures, protocols and guidelines. Responsible for the assessing the patient''s respiratory status and recommending appropriate therapies. Implements therapies and evaluates patient response to therapeutic interventions.

We are hiring for the following Respiratory Care Practitioner positions in the Respiratory Therapy Department at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK!

  • Full time, 0.9 FTE, Variable Shift, 36 Hours Per Week

$10,000 Hiring Bonus for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.

  • Per Diem, 0.01 FTE, Day Shift, Hours Per Week as needed

Required Qualifications:

  • National Registered Respiratory Therapist - National Board for Respiratory Care upon hire or,
  • National Certified Respiratory Therapist - National Board for Respiratory Care upon hire or,
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
  • 5 years - Experience in pediatrics respiratory therapy.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate''s Degree in Respiratory Care.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate''s placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
