Job Title: Respiratory Care Practitioner Therapist

Overview:
Seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join a dynamic healthcare team. This vital role involves performing complex ultrasound procedures to assist in accurate diagnosis and patient care. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and adaptability to a fast-paced environment, contributing directly to quality patient outcomes and departmental success.

Pay Package: $2,100 Weekly
Shift: 7pm - 7am


Required Skills:
  • Completion of a CAHEA-approved formal training program in diagnostic medical sonography
  • Minimum of 2 years of sonographer experience
  • ARDMS certification in Abdominal and OB-Gyn ultrasound
  • Advanced certification in specialty areas as needed by the facility
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
  • Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from the American Heart Association
  • Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
  • Proficiency in computer systems, software, and web-based applications
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey information professionally
  • Knowledge of anatomy related to the liver, gallbladder, aorta, spleen, kidneys, bile ducts, and pancreas, with the ability to perform abdominal ultrasound and recognize relevant pathology
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Formal training in diagnostic medical sonography from an accredited program
  • At least 2 years of related clinical experience in ultrasound imaging

Other Requirements:
  • Certification by The American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) in Abdominal and OB-Gyn ultrasound
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including on-call, weekends, and holidays
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards, compliance, and safety protocols related to healthcare imaging
  • Ability to lift and move objects weighing between 10-50 pounds as part of medium work demands
  • Adherence to all hospital safety standards and infection control practices to protect against exposure to blood, body fluids, and infectious agents
  • Must operate in a healthcare setting with potential occupational exposure to hazardous materials and communicable diseases
