Job Summary and Qualifications

Under the guidance of the Team Leader, and/or Supervisor of Respiratory Care, the RCS/Student will serve as a member of the healthcare team by providing assistance with caring for the appropriate patient population. Provide respiratory care, such as electrocardiograms, and, non-invasive therapy, as ordered by physicians, according to established standards and practices. Perform a variety of duties relative to cleaning, disinfecting, and storing respiratory therapy equipment and restocking of supplies.

What qualifications you will need:

· Must be currently enrolled in an accredited school of respiratory care and/or have completed the program and will obtain CRT/RRT credential within 180 days of hire. · Perform delegated tasks and data collection that have been taught and verified in the course of study.

· CRT, RRT or RPFT by NBRC within 180 days upon completion of accredited program. · Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS provider

      • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
      • (NBRC-RRT) Registered Respiratory Therapist must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
      • Associate Degree
