Respiratory Educator

What We Offer

The Respiratory Educator is responsible for designing, developing, teaching, and evaluating training programs to improve the clinical practice of respiratory therapists, nurses, and other clinicians. Works as liaison between Respiratory Therapy and Nursing to develop an annual education plan that is based on department goals and quality outliers. Develops annual competency plan for respiratory therapists.

What We're Looking For

• Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, required. Graduate Degree, preferred
• Licensure/Certification: RRT credential designated by the NBRC, required.
• Additional Skills (required): Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work accurately while meeting multiple deadlines.
• Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form. Ability to handle difficult and stressful situations with critical thinking and professional composure.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions.
• Ability to exercise sound and independent judgment.
• Knowledge and skill in use of job appropriate technology and software applications.
