UNIT DETAILS: CRT NOT ACCEPTED - Primary role in Level 3 NICU. Must be proficient and able to function independently in critical care of neonate including intubation (>22 wga) obtain arterial blood samples, assist in high risk, low volume bedside procedures. Must also possess adult critical care skills including intubation, airway management, arterial line insertion. WEEKEND: Every Other CALL: None FLOATING: Within hospital/scope of practice and to Piedmont Macon North Hospital as needed MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 2 years - Unit accepts first time travelers
CLINICAL SCREEN: Candidate will be reviewed by clinical to determine clinical fit, if clinical pass and within Piedmont guidelines, candidate will be sent to the manager for final decision. Clinical screens will be sent on case-by-case basis.
RTO: MAX 7 days
HOLIDAYS: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.
