Job Overview
As a Respiratory Student Tech, you’ll gain real-world, hands-on experience providing respiratory care under physician orders and clinical supervision. You’ll work with patients across the lifespan from infants to older adults while building the skills and confidence needed for a successful career in respiratory therapy.
Students are scheduled for a minimum of 16 hours per pay period.
What You’ll Do
- Assist with respiratory care services under supervision
- Support diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory procedures
- Care for patients of all ages across inpatient and outpatient settings
- Learn proper equipment use, treatments, and patient education techniques
- Work closely with licensed respiratory therapists and clinical teams
Required:
- Active Respiratory Student Permit
- Enrollment in the 2nd or final year of a Respiratory Therapy program
