Job Summary

Supports respiratory care services by assisting in the preparation, delivery, and maintenance of respiratory equipment while ensuring compliance with safety and infection control standards. Works closely with respiratory therapists and clinical staff to support patient care activities and ensure equipment is ready for use.

Responsible for organizing and tracking equipment, maintaining accurate documentation of usage and maintenance, and ensuring proper inventory levels of respiratory supplies. Assists in coordinating equipment delivery and supports daily operational workflow within the respiratory care function.

Plays an important role in enhancing patient care by ensuring equipment reliability, supporting clinical procedures, and providing general assistance to healthcare teams. Maintains high standards of accuracy, organization, and compliance in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation and setup of respiratory equipment
• Support respiratory therapists and clinical staff in patient care activities
• Ensure compliance with safety and infection control procedures
• Track and manage equipment delivery and usage
• Maintain accurate logs and documentation for equipment and services
• Organize and stock respiratory supplies and inventory
• Assist in equipment maintenance and readiness
• Follow instructions and support daily departmental operations
• Provide general support to respiratory care functions
• Maintain clean and organized work areas

Minimum Requirements / Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic knowledge of respiratory equipment and terminology preferred
• Previous healthcare or medical equipment experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer and documentation skills
• Valid driver's license (if required for delivery tasks)
