We Are Hiring:

Location: Appleton, WI

Facility: St. Elizabeth Hospital

Department: Respiratory Therapy

Schedule: PRN, Flexible scheduling

What You Will Do:
  • Develop tailored respiratory care plans by assessing each patient's specific diagnosis and clinical needs to ensure they receive the exact type and frequency of treatment required for recovery.

  • Deliver and monitor advanced respiratory therapies, keeping a watchful eye on patient conditions and equipment to guarantee high-quality, continuous care.

  • Champion patient and family education by clearly explaining health conditions and connecting families with community support groups, empowering them to confidently manage their care journey.

  • Evaluate and evolve treatment strategies based on real-time patient outcomes, adjusting medications and modalities to maximize healing and comfort.

  • Provide decisive, life-saving intervention by responding rapidly to emergency resuscitation codes as a trusted member of the critical care team.

What You Will Need:

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BBLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart
    Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Respiratory Care Practitioner credentialed from the Wisconsin Medical Examining Board obtained prior
    to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of
    Pediatrics (AAP) preferred.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's
    degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
