Respiratory Therapist

Summary:

• Duration: 13 Weeks
• Shift: 12H Nights, 6:45PM-7:15AM

Responsibilities:

• Provide respiratory therapy services in accordance with the prescribed treatment plan.
• Float between North or South Campus as required.
• Work 13 weekend shifts out of 26 weekends, including both Saturday and Sunday.
• Work 2 out of 3 major holidays if the contract covers all 3; otherwise, work 1 major holiday.

Requirements:

• Education: Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Cardiopulmonary
• Travel Experience: Must have prior travel assignment experience
• Licensure/Certification: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Minimum 3 years Pediatric ICU experience
• Minimum 3 years Neonatal ICU (Level 3 or 4) experience
• Minimum 1 year Pediatric ED experience
• Minimum 1 year Pediatric Level 1 Trauma experience
• Minimum 5 years of RRT experience
• Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP

Preferred Skills:

• Minimum 4 years Pediatric ICU experience
• Minimum 4 years Neonatal ICU experience
