About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced and dependable Electrical Superintendent to oversee electrical construction projects from start to finish. This role is responsible for managing on-site crews, coordinating with project managers and contractors, and ensuring that all electrical work is completed safely, on time, and in compliance with codes and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate all electrical field operations, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
  • Plan daily and weekly work schedules, allocate manpower, and oversee subcontractor performance.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project documents to ensure work aligns with design intent.
  • Monitor project progress, identify issues, and communicate updates to project managers.
  • Conduct safety meetings and enforce company and OSHA safety policies.
  • Manage materials, tools, and equipment to minimize waste and maximize productivity.
  • Troubleshoot electrical systems and guide technicians in problem-solving.
  • Collaborate with other trades and stakeholders to maintain efficient workflows.
  • Review and approve timesheets, field reports, and project documentation.


Qualifications

  • Minimum 5–7 years of electrical construction experience, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory role.
  • Journeyman or Master Electrician license preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of the NEC (National Electrical Code), safety regulations, and construction standards.
  • Proven ability to lead crews, schedule work, and manage project deadlines.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
