Clay County Medical Center is currently offering a competitive wage and benefits package, and a $20,000 sign on bonus for a two-year commitment to this full time position.
General Purpose:
Provide a variety of routine and advanced forms of Respiratory Therapy procedures for the diagnosis, treatment, and care of patients with respiratory dysfunction. The respiratory therapist works under the Respiratory Therapy Manager providing care to patients of all age demographics within established departmental protocols or physician orders.
Essential Duties:
Qualifications:
Education: Graduate of a CoARC accredited program in Respiratory Therapy. Associates degree required.
License/Certifications: Must hold, and maintain, Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credentials from the National Board for Respiratory Care. Must have, or be able to obtain, Kansas Respiratory Therapist licensure.
Must be able to hold and maintain credentials in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP. ACLS, PALS, and NRP must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
Experience: One year of hospital experience preferred. New graduates are welcome to apply.
