SUMMARY OF POSITION Leads and participates in the day-to-day activities of the Respiratory Services Department and monitors the general activities of its satellites. Monitors evaluates and coaches Registered Respiratory Therapists daily performance and productivity. Adjusts staffing levels according to the Respiratory Clinical Information System RCIS crewing guide.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Associates Degree required Licensed to practice as a Respiratory Therapist by the state of employment required. Current BLS certification. Current certification in ACLS. Two 2 years of experience as a respiratory therapist. One Active Specialty Credential NPS ACCS C-NPT AE-C C-PFT RPFT PALS or NRP.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS ACLS and PALS certification
