Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Respiratory Therapist Lead, you will perform respiratory procedures under physician direction across all patient areas, leading and mentoring therapy staff while overseeing day-to-day operations.
Every day you will conduct patient assessments, develop, implement, and evaluate care plans, and collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient care delivery. You will also manage staffing, clinical competencies, staff development, performance evaluations, and regulatory compliance, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
To be successful in this role, you will possess expertise in respiratory therapy, strong leadership and mentoring skills, and the proven ability to manage operations, ensure clinical competencies, drive performance improvement, and comply with regulatory standards for effective patient care.
We are offering up to $8,000 relocation assistance to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements
Job Requirements
Required
High School Diploma
Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy Education Program (i.e,. CoARC, JRCRTE, or CAAHEP)
Three (3) years of respiratory therapy experience in an acute care setting Knowledge and experience in medical/trauma terminology, disease conditions, pharmacology, treatment modalities, therapeutic testing and interventions
Knowledge of regulatory and accreditation standards and compliance
Current credential of CRT or RRT by N.B.R.C.
Current state Respiratory Therapist Licensure (RLT) in applicable state of employment
Current Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association
Current ACLS certification form American Heart Association upon hire or obtain within six (6) months of hire
Current PALS certification upon hire or obtain within six (6) months of hire
Current NRP certification upon hire or obtain within six (6) months of hire
Preferred
Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree
Previous leadership experience
Prior use of electronic medical records (EMR)
