Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Night Shift

Location: Zanesville, OH / Somerset, OH / Coshocton, OH

Duration: 13 Weeks Contract

Shift: Night Shift – 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Hours: 3x12 Hour Shifts | 36 Hours/Week Guaranteed
Every Other Weekend Required

We are seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a night shift assignment supporting acute care respiratory services across multiple Ohio locations. The ideal candidate will have strong critical care respiratory experience and proficiency in advanced respiratory treatments including ventilators, blood gases, and biPAP management.

Responsibilities:
• Provide respiratory therapy treatments and assessments for acute care patients
• Manage ventilators, biPAP/CPAP systems, and oxygen therapy
• Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis and monitoring
• Respond to respiratory emergencies and code situations
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Maintain accurate respiratory documentation within EPIC EMR
• Educate patients and families regarding respiratory treatments and equipment
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and patient safety standards

Requirements:
• Active Ohio Respiratory Therapist License required
• RRT or CRT Certification required
• Current BLS Certification required
• Minimum three (3) years of acute care respiratory therapy experience required
• Experience with ventilators, ABGs, biPAP/CPAP, and critical care respiratory support required
• Ability to work night shifts and every other weekend required

Preferred:
• EPIC EMR experience preferred
• Strong critical care and acute care respiratory experience preferred
