Quick Facts

• Location: Grand Junction, Colorado
• Coverage Area: Mesa, Delta, and Montrose Counties
• Start Date: Immediate / Upon Availability
• Duration: As needed / PRN basis
• Shift: Flexible, primarily 1-2 days per week (16-20 hours when needed)
• Hours/Week: 16-20 hours (when primary RT unavailable)
• Employment Type: Per diem / PRN
• License/Certs: Valid Respiratory Therapist (RT) or Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Experience: Prior experience in respiratory equipment setup preferred

What You'll Do

• Conduct patient assessments for respiratory therapy needs
• Educate patients on respiratory equipment use and maintenance
• Set up and monitor non-invasive ventilation (NIV) and other respiratory devices
• Respond to patient needs with clinical expertise and compassion
• Communicate findings to physicians for optimal patient care
• Document services accurately and thoroughly
• Support patient compliance and therapy understanding

What You Need
Required:

• Valid RT (RRT or CRT) license or RN license in Colorado
• Experience in respiratory equipment setup preferred
• Strong communication and patient education skills

Preferred:

• Prior experience in home health or respiratory therapy settings
