Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT) or
Registered Nurse (RN) to provide per-diem support in the Taos, New Mexico area. This unique opportunity allows you to create your own schedule while supporting critical patient care needs across Taos County.

Work EnvironmentThis per-diem role involves flexible scheduling with 1-3 days per week, supporting patient equipment setups, PAP maintenance, oxygen services, and equipment testing. You'll work independently during business hours (Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm), with on-call responsibilities for NIV patients.

Compensation: $5-$100 per service setup
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments
- Provide PAP and oxygen equipment setup and maintenance
- Perform equipment cleaning and testing
- Complete online training
- Monitor respiratory equipment function
- Communicate patient findings to physicians
- Maintain accurate documentation
- Support patient compliance and therapy understanding
- On-call support for NIV patients

QualificationsRequired:- Active RRT, CRT, or RN licensure in New Mexico
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Strong clinical assessment skills
- Excellent communication abilities
- Ability to work independently
Preferred:- Completion of accredited respiratory care program
- Home respiratory care experience
- Degree in respiratory therapy or related science
- One year of related work experience
- CRT or RT credentials
Physical Demands- Lift and carry office equipment at times
- Requires close vision to small print on computer and/or tablet and paperwork
- Requires contact with patients and equipment with potential exposure to contagious pathogens
- Requires occasional lifting and transporting of patient equipment
- Requires sitting, walking, standing, talking and listening
- Required to comply with Rotech Respiratory Protection & N95 Mask Fit Testing Policy:
- Medical evaluation and fit testing compliance in a timely manner
- Annual recertification
- Keep face clean-shaven to ensure N95 mask face-seal protection per OSHA guidelines
