Job Requirements
Education Requirements:

• Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program leading to an associate degree or higher.

Certifications Requirements:

• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) or CRT (Certified Respiratory Therapist) credential.

Experience Requirements:

• At least 1 year of recent clinical respiratory therapy experience.
• Previous travel experience preferred but not required.
• Experience managing ventilators and acute respiratory patient needs.

Other Requirements:

• Ability to float within hospital to all units as needed.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Physical ability to perform patient assessments and handle equipment.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy care, including ventilator management, nebulizer treatments, and airway support.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient-specific respiratory care plans.
• Monitor and assess patient responses to therapy, adjusting treatments as needed.
• Document patient care details accurately in the charting system, including EPIC.
• Support on the unit by float within hospital to all units, ensuring coverage and quality care.
