Position Overview
As a skilled practitioner in respiratory care, you will provide respiratory services to patients with minimal supervision. Your responsibilities will include therapy, management, rehabilitation, diagnostic evaluation, and care for individuals with deficiencies and abnormalities affecting the cardiopulmonary system and related functions.
You will administer respiratory therapy, which encompasses delivering oxygen and other medical gases, aerosolized medications, positive pressure breathing devices, ventilators, and resuscitation equipment. Additionally, you will conduct pulmonary diagnostic procedures and assessments. Utilizing your knowledge of growth and development principles, you will evaluate each patient’s unique age-specific needs and deliver tailored treatments and care.
You will demonstrate proficiency across various clinical and critical care environments, ensuring quality service to patient care units through effective communication, cooperation, and collaboration with the healthcare team.
Engagement in further training and/or certification courses will be encouraged to enhance your expertise and skills, enabling you to work in specialized clinical areas.
