Administers respiratory therapy care and life support to patients with deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system, under the physician's supervision and by prescription for inpatient and outpatient services. Qualifications Must possess an Active license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist or Certified credentials through the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) A degree in Respiratory Care from an accredited AMA-approved school of Respiratory Care Program, Associates or Bachelors Certification in the American heart association’s BLS is required. Certification in ACLS (RQI), PALS (RQI), and NRP within 6 months of hire. Prairie Lakes Healthcare System has a Drug Free Workplace Policy.
