Respiratory Therapist (RT)
Skilled Nursing Facility | Full Time | Days Only
Looking for a respiratory therapy role that offers a better work-life balance without giving up meaningful patient care?
We're hiring a Respiratory Therapist to join our growing team in a skilled nursing facility where you'll have the opportunity to build lasting relationships with your patients and truly see the impact of your care.
Schedule
  • 12-hour shifts
  • 4 days off per week!
  • Day shift only: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
What We Offer
  • Competitive pay
  • 100% employer-paid medical benefits – no employee premium cost
  • Paid time off
  • Retirement plan
  • Ongoing training and professional development
  • Opportunities for career growth and advancement
  • Supportive leadership and collaborative clinical team
Why You'll Love This Role
Unlike the fast pace of the hospital, you'll have the chance to really get to know your patients. You'll play an important role in helping residents manage chronic respiratory conditions, improve their quality of life, and celebrate their progress over time.
If you enjoy educating patients, working closely with nurses and providers, and making a lasting difference every day, this is a great opportunity.
Responsibilities
  • Assess and monitor residents with respiratory conditions
  • Administer oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, inhalers, and other respiratory therapies
  • Perform respiratory assessments and document findings
  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team members
  • Educate residents and families on respiratory treatments and disease management
  • Ensure compliance with respiratory care policies and best practices
Qualifications
  • Current Respiratory Therapist license (RRT or CRT)
  • Current BLS certification
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Skilled nursing or long-term care experience is a plus, but we're happy to train the right candidate.
If you're looking for a daytime schedule, outstanding benefits, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while building lasting patient relationships, we'd love to connect with you!
