This is an excellent opportunity for an RT who is comfortable caring for patients across multiple hospital settings and thrives in fast-paced, high-acuity environments.

• Position: Travel Respiratory Therapist

• Assignment Length: 13 Weeks

• Hours: 36 Hours/Week

• Employment Type: Travel Contract

• Required Certifications:BLS & ACLS

Your Responsibilities

As a Travel Respiratory Therapist, you’ll provide specialized respiratory care to patients ranging from routine respiratory needs to critically ill patients requiring advanced interventions.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Assessing patients' respiratory status and developing appropriate treatment plans

• Providing respiratory treatments and therapies

• Managing oxygen delivery systems and respiratory equipment

• Responding to emergency and rapid-response situations

• Providing respiratory care to ICU patients

• Supporting patients on general medical/surgical floors

• Providing respiratory care in the Emergency Department

• Assisting with airway management and emergency procedures

• Monitoring patients and recognizing changes in respiratory status

• Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals

• Educating patients and families regarding respiratory treatments

• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation

• Following infection-control, safety, and hospital protocols

What We’re Looking For

We need a well-rounded Respiratory Therapist with strong hospital experience and the ability to confidently provide respiratory care across a variety of departments.

MUST HAVE:

Current BLS , ACLS certification
Minimum experience in ICU
Experience on General Medical/Surgical Floors
Experience in the Emergency Department (ED)
