Position Highlights:

Responsibilities:
- Monitor vital signs: Track and record patient vital signs, such as heart rate, respiratory rate, and oxygen levels.
- Prepare and maintain equipment: Clean, disinfect, and prepare respiratory equipment (ex. Home sleep study equipment) for use in patient care.
- Transport patients: Move patients to and from different areas of the hospital, ensuring they are comfortable and safe.
- Assist with diagnostic tests: Help in the setup and administration of diagnostic tests (e.g., HST, event monitors, EKGs, Noc Ox’s), and record results for the provider's review.
- Educate patients: Provide basic instructions to patients and families on how to use HST and Noc Ox's.
- Documentation and Billing: Prepares reports for physicians; processes and distributes reports to proper physicians.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment: Ensure that all stocking, cleaning equipment, and respiratory equipment is maintained in good working order, and follow infection control and safety protocols.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Basic understanding of EKG
Compensation:
- $19.00 - $21.85 per hour, depending on education and experience.
- Discretionary bonuses, relocation expenses, merit increase, market adjustments, recognition bonuses, and other forms of discretionary compensation may be available.
Additional Information:
- Relocation: Must relocate to Grand Junction, CO 81505 before starting work.
