Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of inpatient Respiratory Therapy management experience — must be management, not supervisory experience
• Recent experience working in a union environment required
• Must have experience with both adult inpatient care and Level III NICU
• California Respiratory Care Practitioner license
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
• BLS required
• Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred
• Strong background in respiratory therapy operations, clinical standards, staffing, and quality improvement

Candidates coming from a large hospital or health system with a comparable inpatient respiratory program will be strongest. The key screening points are true management-level experience + Level III NICU + adult inpatient RT + recent union experience.
