Shift: 12-Hour Nights (7PM - 7AM)
Hours/Week: 36/48-hour rotation (alternating weeks)
Employment Type: Contract
Licensure/Certifications: Louisiana State Licensure, BLS, NRP (required); ACLS, PALS (preferred)
Experience: 2+ years in respiratory therapy, high-risk deliveries preferred

What Youll Do:
Provide advanced respiratory care support for NICU/PICU and high-risk deliveries
Manage airway, ventilator settings, ABG analysis, and non-invasive ventilation
Attend high risk deliveries, including neonatal intubation if necessary
Administer inhaled medications, including nitric oxide
Support various treatment areas including ED, ICU, Stepdown, Med/Tele
Float between four campuses within a 20-25 minute drive
Support a multidisciplinary team under the direction of department leadership
What You Need:
Required:
Louisiana State Respiratory Therapist licensure
BLS and NRP certifications
Minimum 2+ years of clinical RT experience, with high-risk delivery support preferred
Ability to support NICU/PICU, including neonatal airway and ventilator management
Proficiency with equipment such as Servo U, Trilogy, V60, Vapotherm, and NICU oscillators
Valid drivers license and flexibility to float across multiple campuses
Preferred:
ACLS and PALS certifications
Experience with ECMO support (not required)
CRT credential accepted in lieu of RRT
