Full-Time Respiratory Therapist (7p–7a)

Full-Time | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend
Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist (RT) to join our healthcare team in Watertown, NY. In this role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing the quality of life for our patients by delivering high-quality respiratory care services. This position requires clinical expertise, strong attention to detail, and a patient-centered approach to care.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate patient files (paper and electronic records)
- Accurately enter data into computerized patient records and billing systems
- Assess patient needs using an understanding of growth and development principles to provide age-appropriate care
- Perform oxygen, CPAP, and bi-level titrations
- Assist with EEG patient testing as needed
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to deliver optimal patient outcomes
Qualifications & Requirements
- Current New York State license as Respiratory Therapist (RT or RTT)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Minimum 1 year of Respiratory Therapy experience
- Polysomnography experience preferred (not required)
- Strong documentation and computer skills
Compensation & Benefits
- $10,000 Sign-On Bonus
- Competitive salary ($72,758.40 – $89,752.00 annually)
