Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM
Experience:
• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 2 years of Respiratory Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).
• Experience with Epic is preferred.
• Trauma Level 1 experience is preferred.
• High School completion required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >100 miles from facility to be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:
References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.
Required Skills/Experience: Minimum 2 years’ experience in floor care therapy. Minimum 2 years’ experience with intensive care therapy. Tracheostomy experience required.
Preferred Skills/Experience: NICU level 4 with L&D and PICU level 1 trauma and transplant experience would be ideal.
Required Credentials: ACLS is required if working in the AICU; NRP is required if working in the NICU; PALS is required if working in the PICU.

Unit Details: Basic floor care respiratory therapy includes nebulizers and MDIs, bronchial hygiene (CPT), volume expansion (PEP), and CPAP/BiPAP for all ages, from infants to geriatric patients. NICU/PICU respiratory therapy uses Servo-i, SiPAP, and Sensormedics 3100A (HFOV) ventilators and includes blood gas analysis. Adult ICU respiratory therapy uses Servo-i ventilators, ventilator extubation protocols, and ABGs. Supply and medication Pyxis machines are used.
Floating Requirements: The NICU assignment typically also includes adult floors or adult ICUs. NICU is not guaranteed every shift, and permanent staff are prioritized for NICU assignments.

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months
