From daily oyster selections and crisp wine pairings to casual bites and comforting coastal dishes, Skipjack offers a fresh take on the raw bar experience in a vibrant, reimagined space at The Westin Austin Downtown.
We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Assistant General Manager to lead the ongoing operations of Skipjack Oyster. If you are a senior restaurant manager with a passion for seafood-forward dining, an eye for front-of-house excellence, and the drive to build something lasting, we want to hear from you.
What You'll Do
Report to the Restaurant General Manager and support associates by directing daily operations and creating an excellent guest experience
Oversee and ensure the proper training of all F&B personnel following the White Lodging Way guidelines
Monitor communications, morale, and motivation of all F&B personnel
Ensure food, liquor, wine, and other beverage costs are in line with budget
Oversee Food and Beverage operations during meal periods, ensuring tasks such as cooking, clearing tables, serving, taking orders, delivering room service, and cleaning are performed in accordance with brand standards
Assist with or issue accurate weekly forecasts to enable the creation of effective plans and schedules that maximize guest satisfaction
Perform any other duties as required by the Restaurant General Manager
