Restaurant Busser

We are looking for a Busser to support our wait staff and set up our dining area. Busser responsibilities include clearing plates, glasses and silverware, cleaning tables, and cleaning the front-of-house (floors, restrooms, walls). Ultimately, you will ensure our daily operations run smoothly and our guests have a pleasant dining experience.

Morning shift only. Hours may vary, but schedule would be around 7am-3pm.

Responsibilities:

• • Prepare dining areas before guests are seated
  • Place tableware and condiments on tables
  • Remove dirty utensils and replenish, as needed
  • Bus and clean tables after guests leave
  • Maintain health and safety regulations at all kitchen and dining areas
  • Clean floors
  • Clean restrooms
  • Miscellaneous cleaning
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a food service or customer service role is preferred

• Strong customer service skills

• Ability to multitask and handle a high-volume workload

• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)

• Ability to stand for long periods of time

• Fluency in English is required; additional language skills are a plus

Skills:

• Work experience as a Busser, Food Runner or other entry-level role in a restaurant is a plus
• Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Understanding of hygiene and food safety rules
• Physical ability and stamina to carry heavy trays and stand for long hours
• Ability to multitask and remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
