Job Summary

As a Restaurant Floor Supervisor, you will be a hands-on leader who ensures smooth daily operations, motivates and supports the service team, and delivers high hospitality to every guest.
This role requires balancing guest satisfaction, staff development, and operational efficiency. You will oversee front-of-house operations, maintain service standards, manage reservations, and partner with both the culinary and guest services teams to provide seamless experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, train, schedule, and supervise all front-of-house serving staff.
- Set and maintain service stations and dining areas to Goodstone standards.
- Ensure prompt, courteous, and professional service throughout guest interactions.
- Manage guest concerns with efficiency, professionalism, and warmth.
- Conduct table touches to build rapport and gather feedback from guests.
- Oversee reservations (OpenTable) and confirm guest details or special requirements.
- Coordinate with Guest Services for in-house reservations and special requests.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure timely and accurate service.
- Support staff during peak service times to ensure consistency and maintain a smooth flow.
- Complete daily reports, shift paperwork, and inventory needs for supplies.
- Monitor and uphold presentation standards, menu knowledge, and wine service.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED is required; coursework in hospitality is preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of fine dining experience in supervisory or leadership roles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Professional appearance; visible tattoos must be covered.
- Advanced wine knowledge preferred.
- Reliable transportation.
- Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
- Professional hospitality setting with a mix of indoor/outdoor work.
- Requires standing/walking for extended periods (6+ hours).
- Ability to lift, carry, or move items up to 40 lbs. regularly and 50 lbs. occasionally.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, and climb stairs as needed.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, multitask, and adapt quickly to changes.
Supervisory Responsibility
Direct supervision of front-of-house staff.
