Restaurant General Manager | Coming to Colorado | Salary to 100k

Gecko Hospitality is now searching for an experienced and motivated Restaurant General Manager in the Broomfield area for a new restaurant opening! The ideal Restaurant General Manager is a lead-by-example operator who builds and develops a strong team, controls costs and drives profitability through strong P&L management, and delivers excellent guest service through clear, effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all day-to-day operations of the restaurant
• Build a strong, professional team through recruiting, training, mentoring, and development
• Lead by example while upholding company policies, procedures, and values
• Manage P&L, financial reporting, and analysis to control costs and drive profitability
• Maintain a sharp focus on delivering excellent guest service
• Communicate clearly and effectively with both management and hourly team members

Requirements

• Minimum of 4+ years current experience as a Restaurant General Manager in an Upscale Casual concept
• High volume background – must have Restaurant General Manager experience at establishments doing over $5 million in sales per year
• Ability to increase sales and build rapport in the community
• Outstanding leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Hands-on with hiring, training, and developing hourly employees
• Excellent work ethic and drive to succeed
• Restaurant general manager candidates must be proficient with financials (P&L's, inventory, food/labor cost, etc.)
• Must be able to train out of state for this position
