Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Restaurant General Manager to lead the daily operations of a high-volume Quick Service Restaurant (QSR). This leadership role is responsible for driving operational excellence, developing and retaining a high-performing team, delivering an exceptional customer experience, and achieving financial and business objectives.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong people management skills, a customer-first mindset, and experience managing restaurant operations, team performance, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all day-to-day restaurant operations, ensuring efficient and profitable performance.
Recruit, train, coach, and develop team members while fostering a positive and engaging work environment.
Deliver outstanding customer service by ensuring food quality, speed of service, cleanliness, and hospitality standards.
Maintain high operational standards, including restaurant cleanliness, food safety, equipment maintenance, and workplace safety.
Manage restaurant financial performance, including sales, labor costs, inventory, food costs, and Profit & Loss (P&L).
Monitor key performance metrics and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety regulations, and all applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
Build a culture of accountability, teamwork, continuous improvement, and employee recognition.
Maintain appropriate staffing levels and manage employee scheduling to meet business needs.
Lead by example while motivating the team to achieve operational and customer service goals.
Qualifications:
3 5 years of Restaurant General Manager or Restaurant Management experience in a Quick Service Restaurant (QSR), Fast Casual, or Casual Dining environment.
Demonstrated experience leading, coaching, and developing restaurant teams.
Strong understanding of restaurant operations, food safety, labor management, and customer service.
Experience managing restaurant financials, including P&L, labor, food cost, and inventory.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
Proficient in restaurant operational systems and Microsoft Office is a plus.
